Traverse City Business News Highlights Global Environmental’s Work in Northern Michigan

Global Environmental is proud to be featured in the November 2025 issue of Traverse City Business News as part of Blueprints for Success: Local engineering firms power the region’s development and conservation. The article highlights firms across northern Michigan doing the hard, behind-the-scenes work that keeps projects moving while protecting the places we all care about.
President and Owner Alaina Zeigler shares insight into Global’s role on the Michigan Department of Transportation’s Grandview Parkway project in Traverse City. When construction uncovered BTEX-impacted groundwater, our team stepped in to design and operate an on-site treatment system that met NPDES permit requirements without slowing progress. Along the way, we worked closely with local contractors, provided hands-on training, and kept certified operators on site to ensure water was managed safely and responsibly.
The feature also looks ahead, touching on Global’s continued focus on mobile water treatment systems and remote monitoring to support infrastructure projects across Michigan, especially in regions where protecting water resources isn’t optional, it’s personal.
